I'm an award-winning content strategy and digital marketing expert with 13 years of web, product-development and communications experience in a variety of business realms.

My multidisciplinary work experience in information systems technology, mass communications and graphic design allows me a unique insight into all facets of the content development lifecycle.

My work ranges from governmental and non-profit website development to multimedia digital marketing campaigns to business web-product content strategy. I've been recognized with a Webby Award and multiple Emmy Awards, among others.

CONTENT DESIGN MANAGER

2019 - now

I manage a team that leverages industry best practices and UX research to develop persona-based content strategies for a variety of internal and external knowledge resource platforms (Expedia Partner Central Help, Knowledge Base, Vrbo Agent Knowledge Portal). We provide well-researched, data-driven frameworks for voice, tone, and style guidance for our writers, as well as multimedia content experiences for strategic self-service scenarios.

DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER

2018 - 2019

I developed and executed the global strategy for visual content — infographics, video content, hierarchy elements — in both the Knowledge Base and Partner Central Help Center. I also managed the content experience for the Partner Central Help Center and Contact Us products. In this role I:

  • Prioritized our content roadmap based on user needs and business goals.
  • Developed the strategy of how and when our content is delivered to our partners.
  • Worked with our product engineering team to design, prioritize, deliver, and maintain scalable and effective solutions.
  • Measured the effectiveness of our content solutions through qualitative and quantitative measurements and refined strategy as necessary.

CONTENT STRATEGIST

2017 - 2018
I work as a consultant in Seattle and Olympia on large government and non-profit projects to develop content plans that support organizational objectives while delivering effective user experiences. This includes auditing content, conducting user research, mapping content creation and delivery plans, developing governance structures and workflows, and teaching workshops on web writing best practices.
